Chances are you are hearing this here first!! As of this week the internet has a new site that could easily be a game changer. The World Architecture Map is a searchable database of Architecture of interest around the world. The homepage will point out Architecture in your area including information on the buildings and links to Flickr images with matching tags. Currently there are 2565 buildings in the database. All of the information on the site is collected and cataloged by one person. The hope is to eventually have the content added to by visitors along with ratings and conversation. The idea and realization of the site comes from Botham Design a one man show, and a former classmate of mine. Check out the site and see what is near you.
